We were the only Puerto Rico hotel that was nominated in the Hotel, Pride category, a very important category to the international LGBT+ community that travels.

Coqui del Mar Guesthouse is one of the main sponsors and organizers of the annual Winter Pride Fest, the biggest winter pride in the Caribbean. It’s held every December in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Queer capitol of the Caribbean. In 2019, Winter Pride Fest was hosted by the glamorous April Carrión (from Ru Paul season 6, and featured Alyssa Edwards at the sold out drag show held at Circo bar.
PRIDE in 2020
Many pride events have been cancelled in 2020 but Winter Pride Fest is still planning to host their event (dependent on safely hosting the event). The plan is to host smaller, more intimate outdoor events and open air dancing. Beach parties, pool parties, boat trips with extra spacing and a more intimate crowd.
Coqui del Mar will be hosting guests during WPF weekend, from 10 December to 13 December 2020. Final determination on going forward with the event will be made in October 2020.
